Hardwood out of style?
Topic: Scrounging adventures

OK just got back from a short scrounging mission (ill be back out again later!) and I found a good deal of hardwood and molding pieces. some of this will eventually go into my work bench and some for general maintainance tasks. it seems everyone is throwing away hardwood and I wonder why? Old growth hardwood is so rare now and yet people are throwing it away as "firewood".

Just a comment on society and the wastefulness of it...
